Baron Fig

Baron Fig, derived from the Greek meanings of discipline (baron) and impulse (fig), began with a Kickstarter campaign for their Confidant notebook. Since that time they have ventured into the design of pens and pencils, additional notebooks and accessories such as a sheath for their Squire pen, sticky notes and posters. 

Baron Fig's most recent project, the design of a small series of bags, has them back on Kickstarter to help get this project off the ground. The series consists of a messenger bag, a backpack and a tote bag. All of the pieces are simple, clean shapes with just the essential additions. The backpack is especially nice. With its minimal design the bag is functional and has plenty of room for everything you need without being bulky or clumsy. Ultimately this can be said for all the pieces. 

All bags are offered in the Charcoal or the Fig Wine colour with the potential to bring in a Slate Blue if they manage to raise enough funds. 

Baron Fig is dedicated to collecting and incorporating user input to help create pieces that are functional, elegant and timeless. Additionally, for every sale of their Confidant notebook they plant a tree, so they are also striving for social responsibility. Baron Fig is definitely fighting the good fight when it comes to beautiful, lasting design.
