Bisila Noha Ceramics

The work of Bisila Noha is incredible, I’m so excited to share. The colours in her work are vivid and deep. The use of brushstrokes and the way colours bleed and feather into each other leave incredible markings on each piece. The lace collection features impressions from Spanish lace which provide amazing texture and decoration while also providing a sense of nostalgia. All of her work is a delicate balance of minimalist, contemporary forms with expressive, organic details. It’s a tricky balance and Bisila Noha nails it!

Reading about Bisila Noha’s practice is inspriring. She believes in the ability of her work to tell a story and to act as a means of conveying tradition, history and culture. It is through her curiosity and research that she discovers these new perspectives which then influence her work.

Bisila Noha’s design and practice are fantastic examples of the power and influence that design can have in big ways through the smallest of things. It is such a stunning collection of work.
