by Lassen is a Danish design company that is committed to carrying on the legacy and work of Danish architect brothers, Mogens and Flemming Lassen. 

Both men were incredibly talented architects and like many other designers, tried their hand at designing in different scales. 

by Lassen is currently owned by Mogens Lassen's grandson, Soren Lassen. The designs carried by the studio are simplistic and highly functional. Many designs that by Lasssen carries are still manufactured in Denmark which not only maintains the Lassen history but also Denmark's design history and the talents and skills of its crafts people. 

The pride that by Lassen has in its family history and in the history of Danish design is inspiring. The example this studio has set by maintaing quality and integrity is one that designers, consumers and manufacturers everywhere should take note of.
