Front

Front is a Swedish design studio lead by Sofia Lagerkvist and Anna Lindgren. Grl Pwr!

The studio specializes in furniture, lighting and interior design but what I find most intriguing about them is their fearless approach. 

Front has used methods like explosions and recruited help from animals to inform their designs. Some of their work is even influenced by their interest in magic. Their process and inspirations seem wild and untamed but in the most exciting way. 

The outcomes of this intuitive and some what 'hands off' approach are a collection of work that is intricate, bold, clever and beautiful. Front's ability to let go of the reigns and allow whatever forces come into play and inform the end result is pretty fantastic. This talented duo is definitely onto something!
