Backstage Talks

Backstage Talks is a publication filled with interviews focused on conversations with some of the design industry's most interesting minds. 

This edition features conversations with Hartmut Esslinger where he share his very frank thoughts about the successes and downfalls of heavy hitters like Apple and Facebook. Josh Higgins speaks of how his diverse set of interests in skateboarding and surfing aided in his career that eventually lead him to working on the Obama campaign. 

Backstage Talks is just such a fantastic collection of ideas, musings and opinions. You may not agree with them all but it's exciting to see a publication that's not afraid to ask questions and share those moments with a larger audience. It's also really great to read what appears to be a pretty comfortable conversation between the interviewer and the interviewee. All of the interviews read as genuine and respectful. 

Backstage Talks is a great source of information and inspiration and I feel can be enjoyed by anyone, not just those of us from design backgrounds.
