The illustrations of Vanessa Lovegrove are beautiful compositions of colour, form and texture. Despite the two dimension her work achieves a sense of depth through her perfect use of layering mark making.

There’s definitely a sense of connection and intrigue as her minimalist yet detailed work provides layers of information.

This talented womxn has also illustrated a book and designed covers for publications. I’m sure we’ll see more of Vanessa Lovegrove’s work popping up all over the place.
