Becca Jane

The next ceramist I'm profiling for ceramics week I find truly fascinating as she has taken on the art and illustration side of ceramics. Her work is inspired by nature and is truly captivating. I especially love her blue and white collection as it reminds me of the well known blue and white pottery from the 20th century that features Asian art and architecture. It also has a Scandinavian aesthetic to it as well. 

I appreciate Becca Jane's  incorporation of highly artistic and detailed embellishment to ceramics. I do love solid colours and dreamy colour fades but there is something quite striking about her work. Her work is crisp, intricate and just so well executed. A truly talented artist and designer.
