A lovely human gifted this book to me a while ago and realised I should really share it with you all here.

This book was truly fantastic. The author has interviewed so many talented womxn from all over the world about how they got started in their career. Each shares advice, lessons learned, encouragement and just generally great stories about their decision to take their passion from a hobby into a career.

It was so exciting and empowering to read about all of these incredible humans and the work they have undertaken to get where they are. Consistently across all the womxn they said it was hard and a challenge but they also all felt that it was worth it. I’ve often considered the possibility of taking honey sandwiches beyond my evenings and weekends outside of my full time job as an interior designer. This book was an important and encouraging read.

Even if you just want to read some awesome stories about some kick-ass womxn, read this book.
