This month’s independent read was the very new to scene Hamam Magazine. Hamam meaning ‘bath’ in Turkish explores just that. From the intention of a literal cleansing to the more conceptual means of personal cleansing, Hamam covers it all. This is their 3 edition which focused on the theme of water.
From senior women who still dive for rare oceanic finds to the traditional Japanese baths and stunning architectural pools in Portugal, Hamam explores so many aspects of this very personal and at times very undervalued ritual.

From a series of photographs to short essays and stories. flipping through the pages of Hamam is such an intriguing and eye opening experience.
