Artisème
I was recently in Prague - my first time visiting Europe in more than two years, hooray! - and I had a wander around the beautiful shop Artisème. This shop is dedicated to carrying work by artists and designers who do an incredible job of blurring the lines between art and design.
Under the vaulted ceiling of this incredible historic space , Artisème has curated a stunning collection of glassware, ceramics, jewellery, lighting and clothing. From intriguing material combinations to fantastic textures, every piece is just so incredibly special and exquisite. Artisème clearly has amazing taste and an equally amazing team of artists and designers they work with.
Artisème wants to increase the prevalence and more importantly the appreciation, of art and design so that it’s as common as in our everyday life as music or social media. This is two fold, the more exposure we have to exciting, beautiful design the more work that will need to be created to fill this need. What’s important though is that we continue to purchase through amazing shops like Artisème.
