I think this is a really lovely way to think about art. I know some, including myself, feel pressure to deeply understand or be incredibly affected by art but with this quote from Klimt it provides the chance to just appreciate that art is sometimes just a personal part of the artist’s process. It doesn’t necessarily need or is intended to be accurately translated by others, it’s simply a reflection of the artist and where they are at that particular moment.
